As Director of Photography, I leaned into stillness — allowing low light, subtle movement, and pauses between notes to guide the frame.
Shooting both stills and motion, the focus stayed on intimacy and emotion rather than spectacle.
Every visual choice was made to honour the quiet charm and distinct rhythm of the performance.
Kavya Nair brought a unique warmth to the stage, shaping the night with gentle vocals and thoughtful pauses.
Captured in low light and close quarters, this set celebrated jazz in its most intimate, heartfelt form.
