Ghazal Garage: Where Poetry Meets Light

Ghazal Garage is a live music event in Mumbai that reimagines traditional ghazals through an intimate, contemporary performance setting. This project was shot with a strong cinematic approach—prioritizing mood, contrast, and emotional depth over conventional event coverage.

Low-light environments, expressive performers, and intentional use of shadows allowed the visuals to feel immersive and timeless. Each frame is composed to reflect the soul of ghazals—melancholy, romance, and quiet intensity—while preserving the raw authenticity of a live performance.

Rather than documenting the event as it unfolded, the focus was on translating sound and poetry into still imagery that feels atmospheric and emotionally charged.
